JOHNNIE WALKER DOUB BLK JOHNNIE WALKER GREEN LABEL 15 SCOTCH WHISKY Johnnie Walker Platinum 18 yr 750ml
The much talked about but ever so elusive Johnnie Walker Double Black is back. Well, in March 2011 anyways. Originally launched and tested at six leading international airport locations in January 2010, Double Black was received so well that it will be distributed globally early next year. Taking the already smoky Johnnie Walker Black Label, Master Blender Jim Beveridge would take the characteristics found in that and amplify them, creating a new intensity to the spirit. “Johnnie Walker Double Black takes Johnnie Walker Black Label as its starting point. Drawing on generations of blending and maturation expertise and with the keys to the largest, most diverse stocks of aged Scotch whiskies in the world, I have created Johnnie Walker Black to be a new and complementary perspective on Black Label”, said Master Blender Jim Beveridge. A vatted malt (or should we say blended malt) from Johnnie Walker, Jim Murray awarded this 15 year old a whopping 95 points in his 2010 Whisky Bible. The nose is quite rich and full. There are notes of mocchaccino and espresso coffee, wood smoke and a fireplace, a touch of bitter chocolate and oak. The palate is of medium-body with notes of crisp cereals, coffee beans and chocolate, a date note with a touch of walnut. The finish is quite long and spicy with honeyed sweetness and oak. JOHNNIE WALKER PLATINUM LABEL is drawn from a limited number of casks, carefully chosen and retained throughout their maturation because of their exceptional character. It is an intense, smooth and subtly smoky blend, crafted from Single Malt and Grain Whiskies, each matured to perfection for a minimum of 18 years.
JOHNNIE WALKER BLUE LABEL WHISKY
The pinnacle whisky of the House of Walker® – it is the epitome of blending. Created to reflect the style of whiskies in the early 19th century, it's created using some of our rarest casks from the Johnnie Walker stocks, the largest in the world. Johnnie Walker Blue Label sets the standard, with layers and layers of flavor from hand-selected, rare casks from across the distilling regions of Scotland. Its flavors are influenced by the smoke of the west and the rich, sweet whiskies of the east.
